This is a site about getting better, the easy way. My purpose is to inspire you, to share information, and to offer a chronicle of my own explorations, as I work my way through whatever seems to be relevant to me at any one time.
I’ve been studying and experiencing all sorts of alternative health measures since I was a teenager. I am a trained hypnotist and massage therapist, though I’m not currently practicing. For a number of years, I’ve suffered from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, an am excited to find myself starting to heal from that. As a knee-jerk do-it-yourselfer, and as someone without health insurance, I am my own patient and research animal, my own art project. EFT has long been one of my favorite tools. If you’re unfamiliar, it’s s simple technique where you tap with your fingers on a few key spots on your face, body and hands to get relief from almost any condition. You can learn for free in about 20 minutes. If you like, you can read the original EFT Manual here. It is a very light and readable 79 pages long, though pages 20-32 will get you started immediately.
In my opinion, EFT is probably the ultimate open source software for the mind and body. By that, I mean that it is such a simple and powerful tool that you can adapt it almost infinitely to suit your own needs and your own style. Like many other EFT users, I have developed my own variations and unique perspectives. Offering these to you is a major focus of this website, and I hope you get a lot out of it.
